One of the more maddening headlines in this fake sequester crisis is how ICE is releasing thousands of illegal alien criminals who are slated for deportation. This is an obviously unnecessary ploy in order to force the GOP to concede to Obama’s ridiculous tax increases.

What’s more infuriating is that the maggot lapdog media goes along with the plan, trying to scare Americans, when these cuts are completely gratuitous – in all the reporting, there isn’t any mention of the actual cut in the budget for ICE – I had to find a reference to the cut from 4 months ago:

The sequestration cut to ICE would be $454 million , which is only 8% of the2012 budget of $5.65 billion.

So why are they threatening to let free thousands of criminal illegal aliens at a rate greater than that?

From ICE’s official website:

In Fiscal Year 2011, ICE received approval for a total funded average daily population of approximately 33,400 detention beds. The average daily population increased by nearly 20 percent from an average of 27,990 in Fiscal Year 2007 to an average of 33,330 in Fiscal Year 2011.

For that budget cut of 8%, they’re threatening the public with 24% of detainees being let free:

ICE reportedly plans to reduce their available beds to 25,700 from their current 34,000.

And yet, when Janet Napolitano presented her budget for DHS just a few weeks ago, ICE had a 2% budget cut, with this result:

Decreased funding for detention from 34,000 beds daily to 32,800 and increase use of Alternatives to Detention.

So a 2% decrease in budget for ICE results in 1,200 reduction of detention beds, but an 8% results in nearly 10,000 a reduction?

As I’ve noted before, math is hard, but hope is easy for democrats.

Obama Sends Out Leftist Clergy Indoctrinated in Alinsky Tactics to Support Gun Control, Immigration Policies

Without much fanfare this morning, 80-100 clergy met with White House officials to help organize his push for his gun-grabbing measures.

This was part of a program to help Obama with his gun grabbing schemes. PICO is another leftist entity bent on repurposing faith groups into forgetting about Jesus and get into the “community organizing” business.

Where does PICO get it’s inspiration? Why, from Saul Alinsky of course!! Alinsky taught them to set aside their spiritual mission and focus on organizing communities.  He taught them the definition of change:

 ”All change means disorganization of the old and organization of the new.”

Kinda eerie when applied to Obama, who was a devotee of Alinsky. Especially when applied to gun laws, the 2nd amendment and the constitution itself. If change only comes through dismantling or deconstructing traditional institutions and principles – like the constitution, for instance. Is it any coincidence that the left continues to disdain the constitution and call for it’s replacement, even as Obama had argued that the founders argued against absolute truth in the constitution.

But back to the lefty alinskyite army of clergy!

In an earlier meeting, PICO got their marching orders from the General Dimwit of Gun Grabbery, Joe Biden!

McBride said Biden shared some thoughts on the White House’s proposal to curb gun violence, which includes universal background checks and bans on assault weapons with a possible ammunition component. Biden also expressed the need for faith leaders to appeal to all Americans to eventually pass legislation that will meet that goal.

How might they meet that goal?

In a paper from the PICO website, the Alinsky model is used to displace the traditional religious mission, and replace it with envy of the wealthy while preaching about the parable of the Good Samaritan! It explains:

When it comes to the practice of community organizing in the US, credit must be given to Saul Alinsky who is considered by most organizers to be the grandfather of community organizing. As such, many of the PICO principles that underlie Faith-based organizing can be found in Alinsky’s book, Rules for Radicals.

 Pastor McBride, whose tweet I quoted above, attended both meetings, and explained in a blog the very active political role they’ll be playing:

If we had 20 people to call their local senator or congressperson everyday about this issue — every single day — your local senator or congressman would actually change their decision. I’m talking about all over this country. It’s really important just for us to learn how the system works and to inject ourselves when we have opportunities. There is a truth and an opportunity in this moment. We need the laws changed, we need the behaviors changed and we need them all to understand that we are going to be very much active in this process. We’ve been traveling the country, meeting with families, meeting with clergy, and everyone says the same thing — we need to stop this violence.

He sure does like Feinstein’s draconian gun legislation.

FLASHBACK! How Liberals Used Dubya’s Daughters, and Insulted his Mother, to Bash The Prez!

Ever since Wednesday when the National Rifle Association released their commercial calling President Obama an elitist and a hypocrite for having his daughters protected with armed guards while trying to take away our rights to defend ourselves, the liberal world has swooned with indignation and disgust!

How dare the NRA exploit the president’s children for their political agenda?!?! Don’t they know he’s a Democrat and this is outlawed?!

Only Republicans’ children can be used to embarrass and ridicule them, everyone knows that!

Take, for instance, how liberals used any inkling of ill behavior by George W. Bush’s daughters to mock and deride him!

As early as 2001, Debbie Schlussel noted the weird obsession the press had with mocking Dubya’s daughters:

The press ought to be ashamed. Their perverted coverage of Jenna and Barbara Bush sounds like Playboy’s “Twin” issue and “Ivy League” edition packed into one.

Take the New York Daily News headline, “DOUBLE TROUBLE,” or New York Post’s “JENNA AND TONIC.” And there’s Newsweek’s June 11th issue, containing, “Busted Again in Margaritaville: The President’s Twins.”

At a Hollywood awards ceremony in 2001, actor Nathan Lane joked, “We feel like the Bush twins at happy hour.”

Salon in the article, “President Dumbass” praised Comedy Central’s mockery of George Bush, but lamented that they weren’t allowed to have his daughters have an incestual lesbian relationship!

One sitcom cliché missing from “That’s My Bush,” though, is the brood of adorable, mischievous kids. Comedy Central ordered Parker and Stone to drop their planned portrayal of Bush twins Jenna and Barbara as sexy lesbian lovers.

In 2006, ABC NEWS reported unfounded and unsubstantiated rumors about the Bush girls being kicked out of Argentina.

Based on these rumors, execrable chandelier idiot Kieth Olbermann gave a springboard to Mo Rocca to make even further mocking accusations:

ROCCA: Look, we have to remember the expression running around in a hotel naked in Argentina is an example of magical realism, a technique that‘s common in Argentinean literature and journalism. The translation here is they were running around topless. It is simply that. The same press account said that Jenna, the blonde one, was so beautiful that she exploded into flames of fire. Now, granted they were drinking a lot, so they were highly flammable perhaps, but this is hyperbole.

Can they get any more disgusting? Of course they can, they’re liberals!

ROCCA: You know, I would say that-let me also clarify that this sighting you‘re talking about on Galker, it did say, and I have it right here, that Barbara Bush was sucking down oysters and making out with some guy. This is actually in reference to former first lady Barbara Bush. Right, and we should remember that oysters, of course, are an aphrodisiac, especially after a couple of vodka stingers.

So they’re using the Bush daughters to mock George Bush, who was president at the time, and his mother.

We have an excellent opportunity to take back the Senate and severely hamstring Obama’s statist schemes for the last 2 years of his 2nd term. We need to take 6 seats currently held by Democrats, and they have many more seats up for election in 2014 than Republicans do.

Moody’s Warns of US Credit Downgrade, Citing Lack of Deficit Reduction

While pundits and bloggers hash out who are the real winners and losers of this fiscal cliff deal, Moody’s made it clear that the inability of the deal to address our enormous deficit might negatively effect our bond credit rating [emphasis added]:

New York, January 02, 2013 — Moody’s Investors Service said that the fiscal package passed by both houses of Congress yesterday is a further step in clarifying the medium-term deficit and debt trajectory of the federal government. It does not, however, provide a basis for a meaningful improvement in the government’s debt ratios over the medium term. The rating agency expects that further fiscal measures are likely to be taken in coming months that would result in lower future budget deficits, which are necessary if the negative outlook on the government’s bond rating is to be returned to stable. On the other hand, lack of further deficit reduction measures could affect the rating negatively. Notably, yesterday’s package does not address the federal government’s statutory debt limit, which was reached on December 31. The need to raise the debt limit may affect the outcome of future budget negotiations.

While this is bad news given how terrible our congress is at actually addressing and solving problems, at least they didn’t simply blame gridlock and give the media a chance to smear the GOP and specifically the Tea Party, as they did when Standard & Poors downgraded the US for the first time ever nearly a year ago:

“The downgrade reflects our view that the effectiveness, stability, and predictability of American policymaking and political institutions have weakened at a time of ongoing fiscal and economic challenge,” the company said in a statement.

If we had a competent political leadership, they’d take this to the bank and start beating the Democrats over the head with this news. But we don’t, so they can’t.

So congrats, politicians, you’ve successfully avoided the “Responsibility Cliff” – so now get to work and actually start making inroads into the deficit so that we don’t go over the “Credit Cliff.”

The Strange Circumstances Surrounding Secretary Clinton’s “Diplomatic Illness”

Immediately after the State Department claimed that Hillary Clinton had contracted a stomach illness and would not be testifying at the congressional investigations into Benghazi, conservatives have wondered aloud whether this was merely a scheme to keep her from testifying.

In fact, news media wasted no time in reporting that she would not be able to testify. Then they reported that she would be able to testify. Then her stomach illness turned into a concussion after she fainted, and again, this resulted in her being unable to testify.

Outside of the narrative being pitched to the media by the State Department of Clinton’s ailments, there are three theories about what might actually be happening:

1) The previously mentioned belief that these many ailments are being made up in order to keep Hillary Clinton from testifying at the Benghazi hearings seem to bear some validity, as officials have reversed course a few times on whether she would testify.

Since 3 lower level State Department officials have supposedly resigned while Clinton “healed” from her maladies, will she not be required to testify anymore?

2) Another theory floated before her illness was that the US had planned to legally recognize the Syrian Opposition Coalition, and the excuse to miss this meeting might have given the Obama administration the cover to give the coalition a merely political recognition.

3) The most conspiratorial story comes from supposed rumors originating in Tehran and the Gulf Emirates that Hillary suffered injury from a plane crash as they were landing to meet with Iranian president on a secret mission. According to these unsubstantiated rumors, Navy Seal Commander Job W. Price was killed during this crash – his death has since been reported as a suicide.

This seems rather far-fetched, but has also been reported supposedly on a military report from the Kremlin, and substantiated by a report of the plan crash as well.

Here’s an odd coincidence that might also substantiate the claim that Hillary was on a secret mission to Iran. Prior to her “stomach illness,” here last public appearance was while visiting government officials in Ireland – very soon afterward, Ahmadinejad met with Ireland’s new ambassador to Iran. It could be that Ireland was helping bring this meeting to fruition - in this same timeframe, Clinton was scheduled to meet the Syrian Opposition Coalition, and Pakistan’s president was scheduled to meet with Ahmadinejad.

Were all these meetings a coincidence?

The State Department releases 4 videos of Hillary Clinton after her illness for different diplomatic purposes – they seem to be recorded on the same day, as she’s wearing the same clothing, and nothing in the background seems to change. Two of these are released on the tenth of December (here and here) and two are released on the twelfth (here and here). I can’t find any video or pictures of Hillary released after these.

Another piece to the puzzle – way back during the second presidential debate, Obama admitted to his questioner in private that he knew the State Department official who turned down the Benghazi security request – would he have known this if it were a lower level official?

Just for fun, if Time magazine actually makes Sandra Fluke their “Person of the Year,” what would Bill Clinton’s reaction be?

Maybe then we can stop paying attention to their idiotic person of the year edition. Of course, as a myopic ill-tempered feminist, she was honored to be nominated, but still called it sexist. 

The ridiculous joke that is the negotiation to solve the “fiscal cliff” crisis is easy fodder for cartoons. Obama screeches about a tiny threat of the “fiscal cliff” while ignoring the immense chasm that yawns below America, eager to swallow it whole. This is the deficit, and the debt.

Chuck “the KROWT” Krauthammer lays it out beautifully in his opinion piece, “Cliff-Diving With Obama”:

Republicans must stop acting like supplicants. If Obama so loves those Clinton rates, Republicans should say: Then go over the cliff and have them all.

And add: But if you want a grand bargain, then deal. If we give way on taxes, we want, in return, serious discretionary cuts, clearly spelled-out entitlement cuts and real tax reform.

Otherwise, strap on your parachute, Mr. President. We’ll ride down together.
